Topics and Research

“Topics” offer short commentaries for a general audience in key issues in surf activism and feminist thought.  They might be about concepts or practical know-how (DIY repair, for instance).  Anyone who wishes to contribute a “topic” is invited to contact us.

“Research” is work that delves more deeply, contributed by scholars and experts who are not scholars.  The site is under construction.  For now, see the very substantive “Report from Institute 2017,” reflecting on both the process and philosophy of Institute knowledge production, as well as actual presentations responding the questions related to “Issues of Access,” the 2017 Institute theme.
